Panther Prints is the voice of Duncanville High School. The newspaper is completely student led and produced. All content in the paper is provided by student journalist. Our staff is continually ranked among the top newspapers in the state and also places in the top of many national contest as well.

Our Print publication has been in circulation since the early 50’s and our online publication was started seven years ago. Our content is based on what happens on our campus and in our community that affects our student body.  The Panther Prints staff succeeds in providing great news, editorials, features and sports stories in our publication. This year Panther Prints also introduced an Audio/Video division that constructs all of our video for the website.

Panther Prints encourages readers to interact with us.  We accept letters to the editor and encourage your comments on articles published on our website.  You may submit a letter to the editor by completing the form our our website and sending it in to our staff. We read every letter that is sent to us however we reserve the right not to publish the letter based on its content and nature as it relates to our student body.

Panther Prints is a member of the National Scholastic Press Association, Columbia Scholastic Press Association, Texas Interscholastic Press Association, Southern Interscholastic Press Association, Texas Association of Journalism Educators, Journalism Educators Association and Quill and Scroll.  Panther Prints writers and photographers have won numerous awards from The Dallas Morning News, ILPC, TAJE, NSPA, JEA and Quill and Scroll.  The newspaper has been named as the Top Large School Newspaper in the area by The Dallas Morning News numerous times. Duncanvillepantherprints.org was named as the top high school website in the area by The Dallas Morning News in 2009. The Newspaper has also been the winner of numerous Star Ratings from ILPC and has been recognized by JEA, NSPA and TAJE for its excellence in journalism.

Panther Prints Staff members have won numerous awards. In the 2016-17 year, members from our staff have been recognized locally, state-wide and nationally. 2016 Panther Prints alumni, Cynthia Rangel, was named the 2016 Photographer of the year by the National Scholastic Press Association. Panther Prints also introduced an Audio/Video division this year that constructs all of our video for the website.
